Micro DC Planetary Gear Motor


The planetary gear reducer motor has two characteristics. The first is that the input and output shafts are the same gear; the second is that it has more than 3 planetary gears, which provides a greater resultant torque during speed changes and a smoother speed. Starting (always has a good resultant torque from the gears).



1) Reduce the speed and increase the output torque at the same time. The torque output ratio is based on the motor output multiplied by the reduction ratio, but be careful not to exceed the rated torque of the reducer.

2) Decreasing speed also reduces the inertia of the load, and the reduction of inertia is the square of the reduction ratio. You can see that generally motors have an inertia value.
